Travel with confidence
Zambia
Over the years Zambia has rightly became world famous for its intimate and expert led walking safaris. In particular, a few superbly managed local companies have set up beautiful wildlife lodges in Zambia national parks; in particular South Luangwa which has become renowned for its walking safaris and night time drives. Not all national parks will allow such activities, so the fact that Zambia does, greatly increases your chance of seeing that fabled night time predator; the Leopard. Wildlife Trails has excellent relationships with all the best operators for walking and lodge based safaris, such as Norman Carr, Robin Pope and Remote Africa and a selection of their Zambia safaris are shown below.
Some companies have a rather shallow focus on Zambia, only promoting the very high end safaris in South Luangwa. It is our ambition to showcase a much greater area of the country and share the wealth with a greater number of Zambians. We have bespoke Zambia safaris which visit the much quieter North Luangwa, as well as the Lower Zambezi National Park and Kafue National Park. To have your own private vehicle and expert guide as part of a longer more affordable bespoke Zambia wildlife holiday is very attractive for both first time visitors to Africa, as well as hardcore Africaphiles. Whatever part of the country you would like to visit and whatever style of Zambia safari appeals, we are here to make it happen.

What
Our Clients Say About Us
We visited two camps in South Luangwa, Mwamba Bush camp & Kaingo camp. Both brilliant for the wildlife and the photographic hides. Guides first rate, accommodation top class, camp staff helpful friendly. We then moved down to the Lower Zambezi to Baines River Camp. Excellent accommodation, again staff friendly, only draw back was the forty minute boat trip to reach the national park. Again good wildlife sightings. Allan at Wildlife Trails was very helpful, promptly answered any questions we had, everything went smoothly while in Zambia. The itinerary he suggested was perfect for our trip.
