Nepal
Wildlife Trails fell in love with Nepal way back in April 1997 when we took the bus to Kathmandu, after spending 3 months in India on a ‘never ending’ tiger safari. We were not expecting to see tigers in Nepal, but we included a visit to the world famous Chitwan national park, before flying up to Lukla to start the stunning trek to Everest base camp walk. Chitwan national park walking safaris are legendary and that is where we have to take evasive action up a tree as we observed Asian one-horned rhino. This was our backpacker days, so it was more about the experience than an organised Nepal wildlife holiday. These days we only work with the best Chitwan and Bardia wildlife lodges and their incredibly knowledgable guides, to get you closer to the wildlife action.
If you want to avoid the crowds at India’s tiger sanctuaries and have the chance to see tiger, rhino and elephants in two breathtaking national parks then why not book your Nepal wildlife holiday with us this year and let us show you the magic of Nepals wildlife sanctuaries. We also offer some superb extensions to Pokhara for stunning views of the Himalayas and Kosi Tappu reserve for gangetic dolphins, gharial and superb birding.
