Meet and greet at Entebbe international airport

You will be met on arrival and transferred the short distance to your charming Entebbe guesthouse

Private morning boat cruise for Shoebill from Entebbe

Forget about fighting the local road traffic and instead take the scenic route by boat to Mwamba Swamp for a chance to photograph the iconic Shoebill.

Drive from Entebbe to Kibale national park

It can be a long drive depending on the state of the roads so we leave after breakfast so we have time to make a few stops for local markets/scenic viewpoints and arrive in Kibale mid-afternoon.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast to prepare for the exciting chimpanzee trekking expedition ahead. Located in Kibale National Park, renowned for its rich primate population, the morning trek offers the ideal opportunity to encounter these captivating animals in their natural environment

Drive from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth national park

Wake up early to catch the sunrise and savor a delightful breakfast as today marks a pinnacle of your journey as you begin your scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP), enjoying the landscape and possible wildlife sightings along the way.

Lion tracking in Queen Elizabeth national park

This morning you will focus on a relatively new activity in Queen Elizabeth (Mweya area) which is the chance to track Lions off-road as part of scientific monitoring of one of the prides inside the park.  Afternoon small boat safari on the Kazinga Channel

Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha for the famous tree climbing lions

Following breakfast, you will have a very early breakfast before embarking on another thrilling game drive in the fascinating Ishasha sector, in search of its famous tree-climbing lions. Subsequently, your guide will accompany you on a scenic transfer to the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenterable Forest

After an early breakfast you will head to the offices of the park for briefing and this will be followed by allocation of a ranger guide. Depending on the group, it could take 2-4 hours to reach the Gorilla family and then you have a magical hour with them before hiking back. Rest of the day free to recover!

Option for a second Gorilla Trek in Ruhija sector (cost not included)

Like the previous day, you will head to the offices of the park for briefing and this will be followed by allocation of a ranger guide. You will track another gorilla family in the Ruhija Sector. But expect a whole different experience on this day

Long drive from Buhoma to Lake Mburo national park

On finishing- up with early morning breakfast, we shall embark on our journey to Lake Mburo National Park in search of the Elands, Buffalos, Zebras, Warthogs, Topis, Impalas and many more different wildlife.

Morning jeep safari in Lake Mburo then transfer to Entebbe

Begin the day with an early morning game drive through Lake Mburo National Park, where you can spot Zebras, Antelopes, and other wildlife, or take a peaceful nature walk to enjoy the park’s scenic beauty. After the morning activity, embark on a leisurely drive back to Entebbe

Short transfer to Entebbe international for your flight home

Sadly, we have come to the end of your Uganda wildlife tour unless you want to join Allan on an amazing post extension tour to the Kidepo Valley national park. The only place in Uganda where you have a good chance to see cheetahs!!
