Day 1

Arrive in San Jose and overnight at a luxury hotel
Arrive into San Jose international airport and enjoy a private transfer to your luxury hotel. San José is perched at an elevation of 1150m, with the Poás, Barva, and Irazú volcanoes rising gracefully over the city to the north, and the rugged Talamanca mountains to the south.

After breakfast your driver and private vehicle will drive you to Boca Tapada and from there you will take a boat. The area around Boca Tapada is one of the main nesting sites of the endangered Great Green Macaw and has some stunning rainforest.

Very often wildlife, like the theatrical spider monkeys, will come to your bungalows garden to feed, but a hike with one of the lodge expert naturalists will give you a clearer picture of the beauty and diversity of this forest.

Day 16

Fly back to San Jose from Puerto Jiménez
Sadly, this is the final day of your Costa Rica wildlife holiday and after breakfast we transfer you to Puerto Jiménez to connect with a flight to San Jose. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the international terminal to connect with your flight home.
