Indian wildlife tour to Ranthambhore and Bandhavgarh

Bespoke Indian wildlife tour with 7 tiger safaris in the stunningly photogenic and diverse Ranthambhore National Park, together with wildlife and cultural trips outside of the park, including the UNESCO listed Ranthambhore Fort.  You begin with a two night stay in Agra, taking tours of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, as well as  visit to Akbar's Mausoleum at nearby Sikandra - here you may spot blackbuck antelope grazing in the grounds before seeking them again in the villages around Ranthambhore.

From Ranthambhore you take an overnight train to Bandhavgarh so that your safari time is maximised by avoiding overly long day time drives.  With 7 further jeep safaris here, including time in the Tala zone (subject to availability at time of booking) as well as Magadhi we hope you will see plenty of 'stripes', and maybe even the more elusive leopards.  While everyone seems pre-occupied with demanding Tala, we enjoy the greater peace and freedom of a more balanced view of all areas of the park in order to more fully appreciate its diversity and the stunning scenery, littered with ancient carvings and another imposing hill top fort from which vultures soar.

Finally you travel by day train to the spritual city of Varanasi, with a full 3 night stay to explore the city, see the Ganges under differing light, experience the Aarti ceremony and venture to nearby ruined forts.  Return by air to Delhi after a well-paced yet comprehensive India wildlife tour before and bid a reluctant farewell to the vibrant wildlife, history and people of India.
