This is a Private Tour

  1. 1

    morning arrival in to Delhi for your meet and greet and transfer to board the express train to Ranthambhore.  Overnight stay at the ‘Ranthambhore Regency’

  2. 2-4

    three days of private morning and afternoon jeep safaris inside Ranthambhore National Park, plus a visit to the historic cliff-top fort

  3. 5

    day free for relaxation, or local exploration (visits to schools and village projects supported by ‘Tiger Trails Foundation’

  4. 6

    travel by jeep with your guide through rural Rajasthan to the stunning ‘Ramathra Fort’, stopping at numerous points of interest.  Arrive in time to enjoy the sunset from an unmatched viewpoint or an evening drive looking for nocturnal wildlife

  5. 7

    morning boat ride from the nearby dam looking for a variety of bird species.  Later travel onward to Agra, consider stopping off to view the Taj Mahal at sunset from the opposite bank.  Overnight at the ‘Jaypee Palace’

  6. 8

    sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, and later guided tours of Agra Fort, Itimad-ud-daulah before travelling back to Delhi via Akbar’s Mausoleum at Sikandra.  Overnight at the ‘Bajaj Indian Homestay’

    bid a reluctant farewell and depart from Delhi at the end of your Indian wildlife tour


Accommodation: a private tour throughout, good quality tried and tested lodges, with upgrade options on request. All meals included at Ranthambhore and Ramathra, breakfast only in Agra and Delhi.

Cost: from £1420 per person based on four travelling and sharing two double/ twin rooms OR £1760 per person based on only two travelling (excludes international flights)

Dates: 1st October 2019 to 30th June 2020 (it is still possible to visit zones 6-10 between July and September)

Note: for best chance to secure seats in smaller jeeps and better zones at Ranthambhore you should plan to book more than 6 months in advance
