Peace of Mind

For many of our clients, peace of mind is about trusting that the operator you have booked your dream holiday with can deliver a trip that will meet or exceed their expectations. In addition, having the reassurance that the company can deal with any unforseen circumstances in a sympathetic and efficient manner. Travelling in developing countries poses unique challenges of both logistics, health issues and cultural differences, and it is only through booking through a knowledgable and fully financially protected company, that you will be well prepared for all eventualities. In addition, if things do go wrong you need to know that urgent emails and phone calls will be dealt with in a speedy and professional manner.

Clients who decide to book direct with companies in developing countries or western companies with no financial protection or limited protection need to know that all the money they have paid can potentially be lost. In addition, if their holiday goes ahead but they are dissatisfied with the standard provided, they have no legal recourse due to the fact their booking was made with a non UK based company.

Wildlife Trails does not want its clients worrying about such matters and therefore provides full financial protection in accordance with our membership of AITO (Association of Independent Tour Operators) and their Quality Charter. All our clients ground arrangements are protected by our IPP insurance, and if flights are added these are booked through Travel 2 and protected by their ATOL licence (ATOL3228) for passengers departing from the UK. This combination provides the ultimate peace of mind to our travellers, as every aspect of their trip is financially protected.

An AITO member is required to arrange financial protection for all holidays and other arrangements (including accommodation only) booked by customers with the member under the AITO logo. This financial protection applies to customers who are resident in the UK at the time of booking and to most overseas customers who have booked directly with the member. In doing so, the member must comply with UK Government regulations. Members are required to submit details of their financial protection arrangements to AITO on a regular basis.

Many of the flights on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate
