As a company we do our very best to ensure that every trip undertaken with us is a trip of a lifetime for our clients, whether they are travelling for the first time or returning to the same country after a number of previous visits. Accommodation is a very important part of the whole experience, especially when our clients (unlike many companies) spend 4 to 5 days at wildlife locations; thus allowing them to unpack their bags and relax.

There are two very important issues when it comes to choosing the right accommodation for clients visiting any country. Firstly you must understand what level of expectation the clients have for their trip and then make sure through careful research and good choices you match or exceed the client’s aspirations. As regular visitors to the region we are well placed to give up to the minute advice on the right option for you.

Unfortunately in some locations Sri Lanka has gone down the well trodden ‘package holiday’ route and this is reflected on the choice of accommodation in the towns that attract this type of business. Since our first trip to Sri Lanka in 2002 we have actively pursued accommodation ‘away from the crowds’ and this has resulted in the discovery of some real gems. There is no doubt that Sri Lanka is further down the road than India with regard to smaller boutique type properties with high levels of service and great design.

However Sri Lanka has a variety of different accommodation options to suit all types of clients. From historical famous land mark hotels in the Hill Country to visionary modern ecological design in the cultural triangle and well organised tented camps actually inside the National Parks. A two week tour of this beautiful country will allow you to experience all these different options, as well as enjoy a high standard of food which is renowned for both its variety and local specialities.
