Overview

Sri Lanka wildlife tour, combining a realistic chance for multiple leopard sightings at Yala alongside its full diversity of mammal and bird species.  Take a circuit through the Hill Country to visit World’s End and Bakers Falls during a walking tour and full day visit to Horton Plains National Park before continuing to the unrivaled Yala National Park.  Also including a visit to Bundala National Park, en route between Yala and the West Coast; amongst the 150 bird species listed in the park every species of water bird found in the country is said to visit here; there is also a small elephant population. Finish with a relaxed coastal stay where the highlight is the chance to encounter Blue Whales (November to April); the deeper waters off Dondra Point are held to be one of the best locations Worldwide for the chance of seeing Blue and Sperm whales, also smaller whales and 3 dolphin species may be encountered.
