Best Indian wildlife lodges Infinity resort Bandhavgarh
Probably better known for its property in Corbett (which was formally owned by Tiger Tops); Infinity has taken a slightly different approach to many in Bandhavgarh, who opt for manicured gardens, flower beds and bamboo plantations. They prefer to keep it 'WILD' and hands off, with trees and leaf litter left alone and a more stark and natural wildlife look to the grounds. Within these grounds they have trialled different accommodation options to suit different clients; the overall favourite appears to be the two story bungalows, with their roof top views and ideal room arrangement for a family. All the rooms are ensuite and designed to a good standard, without having the wow factor of other mid-range to luxury lodges in Bandhavgarh.
The resort has its own naturalists affiliated to the lodge who will accompany you on your tiger safari, as well as being available for taking you on birding walks amongst the extensive ground which are adjacent to the core area of Bandhavgarh national park. A good Indian wildlife lodge for birders and those more interested in a wilderness feel than a luxury lodge.
