Best Time For Wildlife in Costa Rica
Costa Rica Climate
Costa Rica has a typical tropical climate, but also amazing diversity of weather for such a small country. If you visit here is going to involve multiple visitis to national parks or reserves, there is a very good chance you are going to see some rain at one of the locations, even in the 'dry season'. Generally, the best time to visit Costa Rica is from December through April, which locals refer to as verano (summer). For a small country, Costa Rica’s gets an awful lot of weather going on. The highlands are cold, the cloud forest is misty and cool, San José and the Central Valley get an ‘eternal spring’ and both the Pacific and Caribbean coasts are pretty much sweltering all year round. So at Wildlife Trails we can carefully plan your Costa Rica tour to me at the best parks at the optimum time for viewing the resident wildlife.
