Churchill Tour in the summer for Beluga Whales
7 days from £2390*
Many people see Churchill, Manitoba as a winter-only destination, with all the action packed into October and November as the Polar Bears wait for the ice to form in the Hudson Bay. However there is potentially a greater variety of wildlife (and certainly plants!) to see in this frontier town during summer, and clients who head up there in late July/early August are unlikely to be disappointed. The ‘main event’ is the massing of hundreds of Beluga Whales around the bay and in the Churchill River. On our visits there we are also seen Caribou, Arctic Fox and even a Polar Bear jumping off a rock to attack a Beluga - Yes, it is a great time to visit!
