Grizzly bear tour at Campbell River and black bear viewing in Zeballos
7 days from £1670*
Canada wildlife holiday: Wildlife Trails have been organising self-drive wildlife tours of Vancouver Island since 2003, and for most of those trips we have used a combination of Port McNeil in the North East (Grizzly Bears and Orcas) and Tofino in the West (Whales and Black Bears). However, recently we explored the potential of the beautiful town of Zeballos on the North West coast of Vancouver Island and found it to be a superb location for wildlife. We discovered a luxury lodge where Black Bears can be viewed from the outside decking, as you cradle a nice glass of local British Columbia wine in one hand! So now in partnership with an excellent local operator we can organise both whale watching and black bear safaris from Zeballos as an alternative to Tofino. Unique Canada wildlife holiday.
