Overview

Alaska wildlife tour of Glacier Bay, Denali, Kenai Peninsula and Brooks Falls

Wildlife Trails is always searching for an affordable way for our clients to maximise the diversity of wildlife they will see in any given country. This tour really does pack a lot of wildlife action in for a great price and clients have been rewarded with superb wildlife viewing. It starts with a flight from Anchorage to Gustavus and a stay at the beautifully located Glacier Bay Lodge. From here you will sue two different boats to enjoy both spectacular glaciers, as well as Humpback whale viewing.

After Gustavus you will head by train (car travel also possible) to Denali national park, where you have the chance to see Denali's own version of the “Big 5”: Moose, Caribou, Dall Sheep, Grizzly, and Wolf. If the weather is clear (not that common) you also have a chance to see North America's largest mountain; Mount Mckinley.

On returning to Anchorage from Denali you can enjoy a beautiful drive down the Kenai peninsula, with stops at both Whittier and then Seward; from where you will enjoy a full day glacier tour, with excellent chances to see sea otters, sea lions and whales. Your Alaska wildlife tour ends in spectacular fashion with a fly-in tour to Brooks falls to see grizzly bears feeding on salmon.
